The International Relations Study Group of the League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County has been active for years studying different countries meeting monthly on the second Tuesday at 12:30 pm. To generate discussion the group uses the Great Decisions Briefing Book  resources put out by the Foreign Policy Association. The topic for April 9, 2024 is NATO's Future. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has come under increased scrutiny, not because NATO troops are involved in the conflict, but because of its role in relations between Russia and its neighbors. Will expanding membership in NATO protect countries, or will it further provoke Russia?

The April 9, 2024 discussion will be held at 12:30 PM at Wesley Enhanced Living 100 Halcyon Drive, Media, 19063 in their Art Room. If you wish, attendees can bring a bag lunch or purchase food at the Bistro Cafe located at the facility.
