The International Relations Study Group of the League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County has been active for years studying different countries meeting monthly on the second Tuesday at 12:30 pm. To generate discussion the group uses the Great Decisions Briefing Book  resources put out by the Foreign Policy Association. To obtain a copy of the Great Decisions 2024 Briefing Book Order online (CLICK HERE) or contact sales at 1 (800) 477-5836 or sales [at] fpa.org ().

The topic for May 14, 2024 is Understanding IndonesiaDespite its large size, Indonesia remains virtually invisible to most Americans. But as one of the world’s largest democracies, the world’s largest Muslim-majority nation, and as an economic driver of ASEAN, why does it fly below the radar? What are current issues in U.S.-Indonesian relations, and what role can the country play in Asia?

The May 14, 2024 discussion will be held at 12:30 PM at Wesley Enhanced Living 100 Halcyon Drive, Media, 19063 in their Art Room. If you wish, attendees can bring a bag lunch or purchase food at the Bistro Cafe located at the facility.
