No Kings Events will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026. In our County an event hosted by Delco Indivisible is scheduled for 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
We the people have the power to say - No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.
This peaceful event is an opportunity to stand up against hate and authoritarianism*. Since the League of Women Voters has consistently and boldly spoken up in the face of rising authoritarianism we are sharing the No Kings information.
League members are encouraged to Unite & Rise in this national day of peaceful protest in a nonpartisan manner.

NOTE: A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
LWV Protest Guidance: We understand that we cannot control how other partners show up, and participating in any event comes with some risk. Please review our protest safety guidance.
If representing the League or wearing LWV shirts (which we encourage), please use good judgment when creating signs which should be in keeping with our non-partisan policy. In other words, do not carry signs mentioning any elected officials by name, or criticizing a specific political party by name. Variations on the "No Kings" message are welcome, as well as criticism of recent government actions, policies, lawlessness, attacks on American values, institutions, and civil rights.
