The League of Women Voters of Delaware County* is presenting a three-part program on Running  for Local Office in preparation for the 2025 municipal election season. 

The third of the series Meet the Winners will be held as an in-person event on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at The Inn at Swarthmore, 10 S Chester Rd, Swarthmore, PA 19081.

Hear from present or former elected officials on their experience with running for office and serving as a local elected official. A question and answer session will follow the presentation. 

Some common experience when running for elected office include tips on: 

• Campaigning
• Public Speaking
• Media Interaction
• Fundraising
• Balancing Personal & Professional Life
• Budgeting
• Policymaking
• Constituent Services
• Networking

The event fee is $35.00 and light refreshments will be served.
