Join in on the Statewide Community Mapping ConversationWednesday, August 18, 2021, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, via Zoom. During this workshop offered through Fair Districts PA, a project of the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania participants will:  

• Hear from mapping experts.

• Review how LACRA values can be used in creating maps. 

• Look at the winning maps from our recent mapping contest. 

• Invite community input through the comparison of maps and through suggesting alternatives.  

• Learn how to use analytic tools to compare maps and to recognize tradeoffs, constraints, and possibilities including racial equity and maximizing minority voices.   

• Use breakout rooms to begin community mapping conversations on a local level.
