With the November 6 election less than a month away, the League of Women Voters is engaging in various nonpartisan projects and campaigns to get out the vote including “Women Take The Polls!” Lead artists Chele Isaac, Kelly Parks Snider and Rachel Griffin engaged community participants to create “get out and vote” yarn-bomb cozies that will be installed as a one-of-a-kind public art installation on the University of Wisconsin Campus on Tuesday, October 23 from 3:00-7:00PM.

The public is welcome to the art installation on October 23. Join women artists, friends, and students at check in on the east side of the School of Education. Then head to Bascom Hill for the installation of the cozies and celebration to Get Out the Vote.

The cozies are anticipated to remain on campus from Tuesday, October 23 through Tuesday, November 6, the Fall General Election Day.

All are welcome. Participation is free.
