The League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County is hosting a public forum titled, “Fact or Fiction: Dispelling Abortion Care Myths” on Monday, November 13 at 6:30 p.m. The forum will be via Zoom and in-person at Summit Place, 6737 W. Washington St., West Allis. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
The forum will include presentations by experts on the medical aspects of reproductive healthcare as well as the current laws in Wisconsin governing access to abortion care.

“The League promotes informed and active participation in government,” said Nancy Maloney, president of the League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County. “Our goal in presenting this forum is to dispel the misinformation surrounding the issue of abortion in order to advocate for better informed public policy.”
