Andrea Kaminski, moderator, is a member of the League of Women Voters of Dane County and of the League's state kegislative committee.
Senator Tammy Baldwin
United States Senator Tammy Baldwin was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. In 1998, Tammy was elected to her first term as a member of Congress, and she served seven terms in the House of Representatives. Tammy was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 2012 and was re-elected for a second term in the Senate in 2018. In the Senate, Senator Baldwin is committed to working across party lines to strengthen the essential pillars of economic security for the middle class - investments in education and workforce readiness, quality health care for all Americans, building a strong manufacturing economy and ensuring retirement security for today’s seniors and future generations. Senator Baldwin serves on the Senate Appropriations Committee, the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP), and the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation.
Susan Curran
Susan Curran is a retired psychologist and member of the Winnebago County League of Women voters since 2013. She quickly identified gerrymandering as an interest, and after personal study of gerrymandering in Wisconsin joined Carolyn Castore's Redistricting Group in the State League. In 2018, Susan replaced Carolyn on the LWV Legislative Committee as the reporting member on redistricting. Also in 2018, Susan, along with fellow Winnebago County LWV member Ann Marshall, was active in promoting the passing of the Winnebago County resolution and referendum on Fair Maps.
Eileen Newcomer
Eileen Newcomer is the Voter Education Manager for the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin. In her role at the state League office, Eileen coordinates LWVWI’s nationally recognized election observation program, manages LWVWI’s voter education efforts and supports local Leagues in their voter service work. She has more than seven years experience in the nonprofit sector and earned her master’s degree in sociomedical cciences from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health.
