The League of Women Voters of the La Crosse Area are hosting a Lunch and Learn from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 8. The virtual presentation will be abobut the roles and responsibilites of school boards. 

Wisconsin Association of School Boards District 6 representative, Mary Jo Rozmenoski; Catherine Griffin, West Salem School Board president; Cheryl Hancock, Holmen School District School Board president; and Dr. Juan Jimenez, La Crosse School Board president will discuss the roles and responsibilities board members assume when elected as stewards of public education.

They will discuss the challenges and rewards their positions, the impact of school board decisions, and the importance of local community support for public education.
