Join us this year to learn, share ideas, and enjoy the fellowship of the League community under a unifying theme: Bridging Divides, Building Unity, Strengthening League. LWV WI’s 2018 Annual Meeting will highlight lectures and discussions on issues about what separates us politically, culturally, and geographically with an emphasis on finding transformative paths to bridge these divides. Our lineup of speakers is taking shape and will soon be announced.

We encourage all members at any level of engagement and experience with the League to join us. Register by June 1st to secure your spot.

6:15PM-8:00PM   Dinner and Keynote Speaker Tracey Robertson, Co Founder and Executive Director of Fit Oshkosh, Inc, will deliver a presentation on "Intent vs. Impact: Mobilizing the Power of the Black vote."

8:45AM-9:45AM   5th Annual Zabelle Malkasian Lecture: Dr. David Canon, UW Professor of Political Science, will deliver a presentation on "Partisan Redistricting and the Gill v. Whitford Supreme Court Case." He teaches courses on American government with focus on Congress, race and politics, the president, and political parties and was the recipient of a University of Wisconsin Distinguished Teaching award.

Silent Auction

Our wonderful hosts from LWV Winnebago County will be holding a silent auction at this year’s Annual Meeting. Silent auction items are graciously being donated by local Leagues across the state and will celebrate the unique communities represented at Annual Meeting. Funds raised through the silent auction will to go to the LWV WI Centennial Fund. What a great way to kick-off fund raising for what is sure to be a memorable celebration in 2020!
