In 2010, the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin piloted its first Election Observation Program and since then, the program has grown significantly thanks to funding from the LWVUS Public Advocacy for Voter Protection program, The Brico Fund and others, an excellent coalition of partners within Wisconsin, as well as dedicated, experienced volunteers and staff. We have also seen changes in election law in Wisconsin. Read more about the program and the past reports that have been produced after major elections.
The Legislative Committee of the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin is composed of members from around the state who work together to analyze legislation and agency rules as they are introduced in the state legislature and recommend action to promote the League's policy goals. Read more about the action the committee has already taken during the current legislative session, along with our statement on Wisconsin's 2021-23 Biennial Budget.
