Announcing the 2024 Southeastern Connecticut Student Civic Engagement Award! High school students are invited to submit an original essay or video by May 8, 2024 to answer the question: What motivates you to engage in the democratic process and vote? At least $1,000.00 in funds will be awarded and the winner(s) will be honored at the LWVSECT Annual Banquet on June 13th, 2024.
