Primary elections for Delaware's two major political parties: Democrats and Republicans. Primaries select these party's candidates for the November general election. Polls are open from 7am to 8pm. Delaware also provides 10 days of early, in-person voting for primary elections

On September 14, 2026, the ACLU of Delaware (ACLU-DE), the Community Legal Aid Society, Inc (CLASI), the League of Women Voters of Delaware, and The Arc of Delaware submitted an amicus brief with the Delaware Supreme Court, urging the court
