LWVVC president, Nicki Junkins, served as a panelist at Bethune Cookman University’s Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Forum on the Importance of Voting. Panelists updated participants on recent legislative changes that impact voting, important community issues that voters should consider when voting, and resources for becoming an informed voter. Dr. Junkins shared information about the League’s Vote411.org website which serves as a one stop shopping resource for election related information.
