Panel discussion with MN State Rep Emma Greenman and MN State Senator Jim Carlson about election-related bills pending in the MN legislature.  Senator Carlson is leading the fight in the state Senate against efforts to use photo id requirements to suppress voting by Minnesotans, while Representative Greenman is chief sponsor of a state House bill to increase voting access and require more disclosure of large donors. They will discuss the proposals’ merits and flaws and what citizens can do to be involved. Common Cause Minnesota and RepresentUS Minnesota are co-sponsoring the event.
