Members advocate for issues important to League by writing letters to the editor.

• If you write a letter on behalf of LWV ABC it must be reviewed and approved by the board.
• If you write in support of a League position as an individual, you do not need to have the board review the letter. 

Members should not mention League when writing in support or opposition to a candidate or an elected official. 

Remember, League speaks with one voice. As a member of League, do not write a letter in opposition to a League position.
