Join us for our in-person Gathering 2025: Looking Forward & Celebrating Our League on Saturday, January 4 at The Springhaven Club 600 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford. The purpose of our gathering is to celebrate our efforts in 2024 and share plans going forward in 2025. We will also have a presentation on the LWVUS One Person One Vote Campaign to Abolish the Electoral College. Event starts at 11:30 AM with lunch served at Noon in the Large Dining Room.

The League of Women Voters of Delaware County is presenting a three-part program on Running for Local Office in preparation for the 2025 municipal election season. The first of the series Toss Your Hat in the Ring will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 7:00 PM via Zoom. This presentation will give an overview of what you need to know about becoming an elected official.

The International Relations Study Group of the League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County has been active for years studying different countries meeting monthly on the second Tuesday at 12:30 pm. To generate discussion the group uses the Great Decisions Briefing Book resources put out by the Foreign Policy Association. The topic for December 2024 is the High Seas Treaty.

The League of Women Voters of Delaware County is presenting a three-part program on Running for Local Office in preparation for the 2025 municipal election season. The second of the series How to Run for School Board will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM via Zoom. This webinar is being conducted through the Great Pennsylvania Schools/PA School Board Association. This comprehensive webinar is designed to provide you with essential insights into what it takes to serve effectively on a school board.

The League of Women Voters of Delaware County is presenting a three-part program on Running for Local Office in preparation for the 2025 municipal election season.

The third of the series Meet the Winners will be held as an in-person event on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Inn at Swarthmore, 10 S Chester Rd, Swarthmore, PA 19081. Hear from present or former elected officials on their experience with running for office and serving as a local elected official. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.

The event fee is $35.00 and light refreshments will be served.
