“One of the reasons George Floyd has become a rallying cry across the country for racial justice protest is not because his experience was so unique but in part because his experience and the experience of his family are so common."  -   Tolu Olorunnipa, reporter

Most of us have knowledge of George's Floyd's death, but his life experiences are less well known.  News articles have tended to focus on his death and rarely on his life.  For the one year anniversary of George Floyd's death, this month's discussion will focus  a series of articles and a podcast  which dicuss his life experience as relayed by friends and family.

It should take about 60-90 minutes to read all the articles but each provides some insight if you do not have time to read them all.  The Podcast is 64 minutes long.
