There will be one day of ceremonies each month from October 2021 through September 2022. All of the ceremonies will be held at the RiverCentre in St. Paul, with numerous 15-20 minute ceremonies accommodating about 65 citizens each. We will continue to have 8 tables for League out in the hall where new citizens exit following their ceremony.

If you are able to volunteer for a morning shift (8:15 to 11:30 AM) or an afternoon shift (11:30 AM - 2:30 PM) please send an email to  citizenshipceremonies [at] lwvmn.org with the date and shift(s) you are available to help. 16 Volunteers needed for each shift.

After the last Citizenship Ceremonies on August 25th and 26th, we carried 2,020 completed voter registration forms into the Secretary of State's office! Approximately 1,200-1,400 people became citizens on each of these days, which shows that the current way of handling ceremonies during COVID seems to be effective and will be continued for the next Federal Court year.
