The North Carolina State Board of Elections has issued a revised voter registration form in 2024 to communicate the Help America Vote Act more clearly to voters. Make sure Box 3 is correctly filled out. All sections in red on the revised form are required in order for the Board of Elections to complete the registration. Encourage the voter to fill the form out completely.

North Carolina is now a voter ID state – voters must bring their driver's license or State ID or one of the other accepted IDs with them when they cast their vote. The list of accepted IDs can be found at NCSBE.gov.

These videos (one is 3 minutes and the other is 6 minutes) will help train volunteers so that they can register voters in North Carolina in 2024.
