For months, the League of Women Voters of North Carolina has been working to help voters understand the three proposed constitutional amendments on North Carolina's November 3 ballot, and why the League is urging voters to vote AGAINST all three.

We've developed voter education materials explaining what each amendment would and would not do, provided resources for our local Leagues and members, and brought together experts to examine the potential consequences for voting rights, state and local finances, public schools and communities across North Carolina.

Now we're joining with organizations across the state to take that message even further.

LWVNC is a member of NC By the People, a statewide coalition working to inform North Carolinians about the amendments and encourage voters to vote AGAINST all three. The coalition's new website, NCVoteAgainst.org, gives voters another way to learn about the amendments. It also gives all of us new tools for spreading the word.

Learn. Pledge. Share.

At NCVoteAgainst.org, you can learn more about the three amendments, pledge to vote AGAINST all three, and find resources you can share with friends, family and neighbors.

Constitutional amendments have lasting consequences. Once a policy is written into our state Constitution, changing it requires another constitutional amendment and another vote of the people.

Help us spread the word. Share these resources with friends, family, and neighbors, and encourage others to learn what these amendments would mean for North Carolina. Together, we can help voters make an informed choice and understand why the League of Women Voters of North Carolina is urging a vote AGAINST all three constitutional amendments.

Early voting begins October 15 and runs through October 31. Election Day is November 3.
