A statement from LWVNC President Jo Nicholas: "We grieve the death of George Floyd and all the Black lives lost as a result of rogue law enforcement. We stand in solidarity with the Black community and abhor racism in all of its forms. LWVNC joins the LWVUS in the belief that the perpetuation of the myth of white supremacy must be dismantled if we are ever to achieve a nation providing liberty and justice for all."
