2023 Spring Internship with the Community Alliances Committee (CAC): Tribal Nations & Indigenous-Affiliated Organizational Lists Development

The League of Women Voters of Wisconsin is seeking an intern during the 2023 Spring Semester. A nominal stipend of $300 will be provided at the close of the project in May. Hours are approximately 6-7 hours per week. This is a remote position.

The League of Women Voters of Wisconsin (LWVWI), a grassroots, nonpartisan, political organization, is seeking a qualified intern to create a comprehensive spreadsheet of Tribal Nations and Indigenous- affiliated organizations in Wisconsin through contact with local Wisconsin Leagues and additional online research to support our outreach and allyship efforts.

To achieve this goal, the intern will:
● Survey 20 local Leagues requesting lists of Tribal Nations/Indigenous-affiliated organizations they work with and/or know about in their respective communities/regions
● Research additional statewide or local organizations that identify as Tribal Nations/First Nation
organizations
● Create an excel spreadsheet of these organizations with contact information by League location. A model spreadsheet exists for this project.

Send a cover letter and resume by Friday, May 12 to: lwvwisconsin [at] lwvwi.org
