The Annual Meeting of the LWV Upper Mississippi River Region will be on May 21, starting at 9am, via Zoom.  Meeting info and agenda are found on the LWV UMRR website here: https://www.lwvumrr.org/annual-meeting-2022.html  They will post meeting materials on this site as well.

 

Each paid-up member League is asked to send one delegate to the meeting.  Delegates should plan to sign in at 8:45 am so we can qualify delegates before the meeting starts. (Join the meeting by clicking the green button on the website.)  If additional members of your League want to attend, they will be asked to refrain from voting when the time comes. There's no need to pre-register for the Business Meeting, which will feature an exciting keynote talk by Bonnie Cox and Beth Baransky from LWV Jo Daviess County (IL).  They will talk about using League principles to protect water resources, based upon their very successful experience.  

 

The Business Meeting will end at 10:15 and participants will then go back to the Educational Meeting for the 10:30 webinar, titled "Does it take an Act of Congress to Save the Mississippi?"
