Join the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin and Pablo Toral, a professor of Environmental Studies and International Relations at Beloit College, for the second event in LWV Beloit's climate change series.

In a talk titled "Focus on Success: Climate Change Actors that Make a Difference," Toral will acknowledge the role individual actions play in reinforcing the importance of actively engaging with climate change. However, collective action is key to combating climate change, as will be illustrated with examples of community-level actions.

This is the second of three lectures discussing climate change being presented by Beloit Public Library, in partnership with the Beloit League of Women Voters and Welty Environmental Center. Each event will be live-streamed via Facebook Live and include a 30- to 40-minute talk followed by audience Q&A.
