IN PERSON INFORMATION: Registration for IN PERSON attendance ended May 30
Join us on Friday, June 10, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday, June 11, 9:30 AM to noon, at the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley hotel in downtown Appleton for LWVWI's 2022 Annual Meeting! A light breakfast will be available each day starting at 8:00 AM.
The Friday program starts at 9:30 AM and includes an awards presentation, the Parade of Leagues, keynote speakers from the Disability Vote Coalition, a youth panel, the League’s business meeting - the plenary, and a social gathering, 5 to 6 PM, with light appetizers, celebratory cake and a cash bar. Only League members may vote in the Plenary Session.
On Saturday, join us for a light breakfast starting at 8:00 AM and an opportunity to informally gather by interest groups (Local League Presidents, Voter Services, Technology and Communication, and Legislative Committee). The IN PERSON Saturday program starts at 9:30 AM and includes keynote speakers on Native voting and breakout sessions on topics related to diversity, equity and inclusion, civic education, election administration and jail voting.
PROOF OF COVID VACCINATION (two doses and booster) WILL BE REQUIRED to attend the Friday and Saturday IN PERSON meetings. Please present proof of vaccination at the League's registration table when you arrive. A photo of your vaccination card will suffice. Requirements may change as public health recommendations change. Please Note: MASKS are also highly recommended as social distancing will be challenging to maintain within the confines of the hotel.
League members are also invited to walk or ride in the Appleton Flag Day Parade (the largest in the country!) on Saturday, June 11, starting at 2PM. This activity is being coordinated by our event hosts, LWV Appleton-Fox Cities.

Friday's program will be live streamed for an online audience (to register for Friday-only ONLINE attendance, click here). The Friday program includes an awards presentation, the Parade of Leagues, keynote speakers from the Disability Vote Coalition, a youth panel, and the League’s business meeting -- the plenary. ONLINE attendees will be able to ask questions of speakers and panelists. Only League members may vote in the Plenary Session.
The Saturday IN PERSON only morning program will NOT be live streamed but programs will be recorded and made available post-event.

Do I need to be a member of LWVWI to attend this Conference?
Anyone can attend LWVWI's 2022 Annual Meeting. We welcome members and non-members and encourage your participation!
What is included in the registration fee?
The IN PERSON registration fee provides access to all scheduled programming. Morning coffee, tea, fruit and pastries with gluten-free options will be available on Friday and Saturday morning starting at 8:00 AM. Friday registration includes a Luncheon Sandwich Buffet that meets all dietary requirements and a social gathering, 5 to 6 PM, with light appetizers, celebratory cake and a cash bar.
How do I Make Reservations for Overnight Accommodations?
LWVWI has reserved a block of rooms for the evenings of Thursday, June 9 and Friday, June 10, at the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley hotel at the reduced rate of $129/night. To make a room reservation call 920-733-8000 and ask for the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin Annual Meeting Block. OR, click here to make online reservations. Enter your date(s) of stay, click on "Special Rates," enter "LWV" under Group Code, then click "Check Rooms & Rates." Reservations must be made by May 12 to take advantage of the reduced rate.
Where do I park and enter the building for the event?
The IN PERSON LWVWI Annual Meeting will be held at the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley Hotel, 333 W College St, Appleton, WI 54911. Park in the RED ramp, click here to view the map of the parking ramp. Take the skyway walk from the 3rd floor of the parking ramp to the hotel.
