The presentation “An Introduction to Treaties, Tribal Sovereignty and Ceded Territory” scheduled for February 23rd at Lake of the Torches Convention Center in Lac du Flambeau has been postponed.

Due to the ongoing situation involving road closures on tribal land, the League of Women Voters of the Northwoods (LWVNOW) has decided that the timing of this educational program has become untenable. They plan to move the program to April, date to be determined.

Co-sponsors of the presentation are the American Association of University Women (AAUW), the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians, LWVNOW, and WXPR Radio.
