Join us on Tuesday, March 2, to spring into democracy! We will cover important topics (outlined below) from 3-5 p.m., and leave the last half hour for further discussion in small groups.

Summit Agenda:

  • Welcome and what’s new in 2021 - with Kristin from Campus Vote Project
  • Keeping the momentum going - year-round democracy engagement on campuses - with Luke from CEEP
  • Spring General Election is April 6th - importance of State Superintendent and Judicial races - with DPI leadership and Marquette Law Professor Ed Fallone
  • Voting Process, Rules, and Regs – has anything changed since the fall election? with Eileen from the League of Women Voters
  • Supporting ALL voters – resources and rights for voters with disabilities - with Jennifer from the Board for People with Developmental Disabilities
  • The Census is done – now what? Will Wisconsin lose a congressional seat? Understanding reapportionment and redistricting with Jay and Erin from Common Cause in Wisconsin
  • Fellows from Campus Vote Project, Andrew Goodman Foundation, and CEEP will discuss barriers faced by BIPOC, LGBTQ students and more
