School Board Elections in Delaware (statewide). Polls are open from 7am to 8pm. All U.S. Citizens age 18 and older residing in Delaware can vote in school board elections; you do not have to be a registered voter to vote in this election.

Tickets are now on sale for the third annual Defending Democracy Film Festival on March 23! Celebrating International Women's Month, this fundraiser will start at 6 with a reception and raffle with refreshments kindly provided by DiFebo’s restaurant. Proceeds from drinks benefit our partner, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society. The raffle will includes donated items and a 50/50 prize. At 6:30 we will begin our film presentation, a collection of short films reflecting the breadth and influence of women’s experience in contemporary society and culture. HandsOff! Mass Mobilization

LWV is joining national partners for Hands Off!, a mobilization in response to the current administration’s attacks on our democracy, basic rights, and overreach of power. Rallies are planned nationwide for April 5 from noon - 2 p.m. In Delaware, the main rally will be in Dover at Legislative Hall - and LWVSCDE plans to be there! And we're organizing carpools to drive to the event. We'll meet at 10:30 a.m. at the Lewes Park-n-Ride and expect to return by 3 p.m. Use the registration button below to let us know whether you can drive or need a ride. And even if you can't make the Dover rally, join us for sign-making at Panera in Rehoboth (April 4, 10 a.m., materials provided). Go to https://signup.com/go/SjsCHXa to register for that event.
