"TED Democracy Philadelphia: Founding Futures" celebrates our country's 250th anniversary in the birthplace of modern democracy. Delaware's Route 9 Library will be live-streaming the event in the Black Box Theater, from 10 am - 4:30 pm. LWVNCC will have a League information table at this event.

"We Shall Not Rest: A Century of Women's Suffrage and Beyond." Our speakers will examine the history and future of women’s suffrage in Delaware and the US, and Barb Hedges-Goettl will share her incredible experience attending this year's 70th UN Commission on the Status of Women as a League representative. This is a free event, with buffet lunch provided.

The May 19 League, Libations and Learning event features Dr. Diane Janosek, cybersecurity expert, Topic: "My Lying Eyes: AI and the Age of Deception." CEO of Janos LLC and former NSA Deputy Director of Compliance and Commandant of the National Cryptologic University, 12-2:30 pm, Library Room at Bluecoast, Rehoboth.

School Board Elections in Delaware (statewide). Polls are open from 7am to 8pm. All U.S. Citizens age 18 and older residing in Delaware can vote in school board elections; you do not have to be a registered voter to vote in this election.
