LWVUS is joining No Kings 2 as a national partner on Saturday, October 18th. In Delaware, events are planned in Wilmington, Newark, Dover, Georgetown, Lewes/Rehoboth Beach, and Bethany Beach. Delaware League members are encouraged to participate in activations with partners on the ground in a nonpartisan manner.

National Voters Registration Month

This week marks two important civic holidays for the League, National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday 9/16/2025, and Constitution Day on Wednesday 9/17/2025. LWVNCC will host voter registration/information tables at local colleges on both days.

Sussex LWV will have an information table at the September 6 IMPACT Festival in Bridgeville. Six volunteers are needed - 3 for each of two shifts - 8:30 am to 12:00 pm OR 12:00 pm to 2 pm. League members are encouraged to join LWVUS on September 3rd in Washington, DC, from 3 to 4 pm, to bring together League members and members of Congress and their staff to discuss the collective work to be done in support of Cultivating Champions for Democracy. At this event in the Capitol Visitor Center, we will hear from members of Congress speaking about their office’s commitment to preserving and strengthening our democracy. NOTE: The Capitol Visitor Center, the main entrance to the U.S. Capitol, is located beneath the East Front plaza of the U.S. Capitol at First Street and East Capitol Street.
