Please join us in submitting written testimony before March 7 in favor of Raised House Bill 7125. And if you ever voted on a ballot question about changing your town or city charter that used vague or confusing language, please mention it in your testimony.
In this review, we summarize the races that the LWV of Connecticut (LWVCT) covered in 2024, how many candidates participated in the VOTE411 Voter Guides, and key statistics on VOTE411 users. We also identify ways to increase awareness of VOTE411—both within our League networks and among candidates and voters.

With the global decline in voter participation, democracy is at risk. There is a pressing need to revitalize voter engagement, particularly among women and marginalized communities. Our panelists will examine critical issues affecting voter participation including youth disengagement, institutional challenges, civic mistrust, and cultural barriers and highlight policy innovations that can foster democratic resilience.
