Delaware County Naturalization Ceremony will take place at the Delaware County Courthouse in Media on September 11, 2024 at 7:00 PM. Our League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County has been invited by the presiding Judge to be present at the naturalization ceremony to give each new citizen a packet of information about voting.

The International Relations Study Group of the League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County has been active for years studying different countries meeting monthly on the second Tuesday at 12:30 pm. To generate discussion the group uses the Great Decisions Briefing Book resources put out by the Foreign Policy Association. The topic for September 2024 is Pandemic Preparedness.

The League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania is pleased to present Ballot Box Basics: Election Integrity, a free webinar series open to the public via Zoom. These monthly webinars will discuss important topics like registering to vote, voting integrity, your polling place, voter ID requirements, election security, constitutional amendments, and Pennsylvania government.
The program via Zoom on August 20, 2024 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM will feature Thad Hall, Mercer County Director of Elections, and Timothy Benyo, Lehigh County Chief Clerk.

The second annual celebration of Pride in Delaware County will begin with a Pride Parade on Saturday, June 1 at 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on State Street in Media, PA. This parade will celebrate and promote the rights and equality of the whole LGBTQQIA+ community. In accordance with the League of Women Voters Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Policy our League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County (LWVCDC) is inviting our members to come out and show their support for the LGBTQQIA+ community.

The League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County will have a voter information and environmental resources exhibit table on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the 3rd Annual Sustainability Conference being held at Widener University, 1 University Place, Chester PA. Conference times are 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The conference is FREE and includes a complimentary breakfast and lunch.
