September 15, 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of Connecticut Governor Holcomb calling the legislature into session to add Connecticut’s name to the list of states that approved the 19th Amendment.
The League of Women Voters of Connecticut surveyed 635 CT primary voters from 108 towns to learn about their experiences. Their responses will guide the League’s work in the coming months as we prepare for the November election.
Election integrity and our democracy are at risk in November; the safety, security, and integrity of our election demand expedited results wherever possible. In Connecticut, this means expediting the processing of absentee ballots. Before the end of the week, please contact the Co-chairs of the GAE committee, your own legislators, and your town's highest elected official.
