LWV Hingham member, Aly Anderson, helped Hingham High School students register for volunteer service hours. The League is inviting students to assist with voter registration and handing out "I Voted Today" stickers.

The League of Women Voters (LWV) is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging the informed and active participation of citizens in government. It influences public policy through voter outreach, education and advocacy.

The LWV Hingham is a local chapter of the LWV Massachusetts and the LWV  United States. Our female and male members reside in Hingham, Hull, and Cohasset and want you to be an informed voter.

Hingham 3rd Grade Civic Town Meeting

Hingham 3rd Graders will be taking part in their own Town Meeting on May 20th, June 5th, and June 8th at Old Ship in Hingham. The LWV Hingham supports this program with volunteers and a funding grant.

The students prepare for their Town Meeting by learning about the history, the meeting process, and writing 'warrant articles' to vote for or against. Here is the instructional video shown to all 3rd Graders.
