A Cole County judge on Aug. 10 ordered Missouri officials not to deny coverage to patients newly eligible for Medicaid. Earlier, the Missouri Supreme Court unanimously agreed that  Medicaid Expansion is the law of the land, upholding the constitutional amendment voters approved in August 2020 against budget challenges.

This means that 275,000 adults between ages 19 to 64 living below 138% for the federal poverty level (FPL) are now eligible for Medicaid. Click here for a flyer with more information.
