Hingham 3rd Graders will be taking part in their own Town Meeting on May 20th, June 5th, and June 8th at Old Ship in Hingham. The LWV Hingham supports this program with volunteers and a funding grant.

The students prepare for their Town Meeting by learning about the history, the meeting process, and writing 'warrant articles' to vote for or against. Here is the instructional video shown to all 3rd Graders.

Welcome to the 11th  annual LWV Hingham Warrant Review. Carol Tully, the Chair of Hingham’s Advisory Committee, provides an overview of the 2026 Open Town Meeting including the meeting process and the key issues covered in the warrant. The audience was invited to ask questions to better understand the process and issues.

For the second year, the League is pleased to have a co-sponsor for the Warrant Review - The Linden Ponds Political Interest Committee. The event was held at Linden Ponds and was open to the public.
