LWVDE is encouraging League Members to attend the April 5 Hands Off! Rally in Dover as a group. It is happening on Saturday, April 5 from 12-2pm. There are also rallies in Newark, Rehoboth Beach and DC.
LWVUS has issued a statement in response to President Donald Trump's March 25 executive order regarding US Elections. The League believes the order "threatens Americans' freedom to vote and tramples states' constitutional authority to run their own elections."

This year's Milton elections featured two candidates vying for the mayoral seat, plus three candidates running to fill two town council seats. The Sussex LWV sponsored a public forum for these candidates on February 15, 2025, in the large meeting room at the Milton Library, from 12-2 pm.
