About the presenter

Ted Volskay, the co-chair of the LWVSC  Environmental Working Group, has lived in South Carolina since 1982: 

  • First in Charleston, SC while in the Navy, 
  • In Pendleton, SC (1986 to 1988) while attending Clemson University, and 
  • In the Greenville, SC area since 1989.   

An environmental consultant since 1988 specializing in regulatory compliance, soil and groundwater contaminant assessment and characterization, and soil and groundwater remediation, Ted holds a  BS in Chemistry (University of South Florida, Tampa) and MS in Environmental Engineering (Clemson University). 

Ted recently completed graduate courses in renewable power, economics and finance for sustainability, and climate change and mitigation toward graduate certification in "Climate Change and Sustainability."
