News

In this short video, Marian Lewin, LWVNC's vice president, goes over tracking your ballot; how the Board of Elections examines and accepts absentee ballots; how absentee votes are tabulated and when those results are released; and how these processes are transparent to the public. Voters can request their absentee ballot through an online portal at NCSBE.gov.

Go to VOTE411.org, LWVNC's nonpartisan voter guide, to find out about the policy positions of candidates, get detailed instructions on registering to vote, find an early voting location in your county, confirm your Election Day polling place, and take the guesswork out of the absentee-by-mail process.
