The League of Women Voters of South Carolina State Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Award was created to acknowledge and celebrate exemplary leadership in advancing DEI throughout South Carolina Leagues.
Application Criteria
One League will be recognized with an award at the League of Women Voters of South Carolina State Convention this April 2023, in Columbia, South Carolina.
Leagues may self-nominate or their League be nominated by an individual in an LWVSC League. The nominator needs to be a League member in good standing (as of March 2023). The LWVSC DEI Director will review the applications to make a recommendation to the State Board of Directors for the DEI recognition award winner. The 2023 Award will be presented during the 2023 LWVSC State Convention.
