Our president, Nancy Williams, was interviewed on The Arena's Shattering Ceilings podcast on August 14 in advance of Women's Equality Day (August 26). 

Melissa Watson Ward, the host, and Nancy discussed the importance of community engagement, the history and mission of the League of Women Voters, the challenges women face in getting elected, and the need for voter registration and mobilization. They also highlighted the significance of women's voices in politics and the importance of supporting women candidates.
