Registration Information 

Please mail your registration form to Fran Holt, 54 Wax Myrtle Ct., Hilton Head Island, SC 29926, with payment by check; OR send by email (scanned as pdf or photographed) to franholthhbl [at] gmail.com, with payment made through PayPal on lwvsc.org.   (A local league may send in several together, one for each registrant, with one check or PayPal payment.) 

For overnight accommodations, call Town and Country Inn and Suites, 843-571-1000, for a reservation.  Ask for the LWV special rate of $189 ($215.46 with tax).  Call right away.  Rooms at the special rate are only being held until April 2.

Registration is due by April 17, 2019. A $25 late fee will be assessed on registrations received after April 17. 

Registration Fee is $165 (includes facility rental, light breakfasts, all-day coffee service, lunch, banquet, snacks, all • service charges, plenary sessions, presentations, workshops, AV equipment, printed materials, other incidentals). 

Guest(s) for Saturday banquet ONLY –- $80 each.

1. Diversity/Inclusion (how to make diversity and inclusion work in the nonprofit environment)

2. Healthcare (healthcare and the law; in many situations the question arises: who decides — medical professionals & their patients or our lawmakers?)

3. Status of Women/ERA (where are we now and where do we go from here?)

4. Dark Money (consider the source: how can we find out who is trying to influence our votes?)

5. Environment (exploring the public health consequences of climate change)

6. Education (focusing on two parts of the problem: funding and testing/accountability)
