Medicaid Expansion is on the chopping block as the legislature’s Joint Finance Committee begins meeting in executive session on the Governor’s proposed biennial budget. This threatens the well-being of the estimated 82,000 additional adults who could be covered by BadgerCare.
LWV BELOIT recently held their Annual Meeting which included a riveting presentation on the criminal justice system in Wisconsin given jointly by the Presidents of the Beloit Justice Overcoming Borders and the NAACP Beloit Chapter.
