If the problem is that you don’t feel like you know enough about the candidates to cast an informed ballot (and you really shouldn’t vote if you don’t), the League of Women Voters of South Carolina can help.
The S.C. chapter and its local affiliates are in their fifth year of participating in the national league’s Vote411 candidate guide, available at vote411.org, to provide basic voter information about our elections. The site will also show you your ballot, your polling place, and other election basics, but its main role is to provide information about the candidates.
You can find information about your races by clicking on “Find what’s on your ballot” near the top of the page and entering your address.
