Join us for the LWVSC League Education and Advocacy Day (LEAD) on March 21 at Midlands Tech’s Beltline Campus in Columbia

We are happy to announce that our annual LEAD meeting has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 21, at Midlands Tech. Same time, same place, same program. Our speakers and presenters promise to help us prepare for the Primary elections in June.

Whether we call it “Unite and Rise” or “Marching to Midterms”, you’ll want to be there to
listen, learn, advocate, and meet with fellow League members across the State. Read below for
important information about your registration.

If you had already registered for the January 24 event, you do not have to do anything but
show up on March 21. However, if you registered for January 24 and now cannot make the
rescheduled date of March 21, please contact Anita Baker lwvscassistant [at] gmail.com to let
her know you are cancelling.

This is important for two reasons: 1) you will be sent a refund of your registration fee, and 2)
you will allow another League member to attend in your place. We reached capacity for
registration and have started a waiting list for those who wish to attend on March 21. Letting
Anita know you can’t attend will allow another person to register. Deadline for cancelling your
registration is February 15.

If you did not register for the January 24 LEAD event but would like to attend on March 21,
please contact Anita to let her know and you will be put on a waiting list. You will be notified
after February 15 if there are any tickets available.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Our team is looking forward to seeing you.

We will meet in the Center for Business and Information Technology (CBIT) conference room 101 on the ground floor.  From South Beltine Boulevard, take Rosewood Drive and use the parking area near the CBIT entrance. View and download the campus map
