League of Women Voters Charleston area will present a timely webinar on the Intersection of Mental Healthcare and the Criminal Justice System in South Carolina.

This program is part of the  LWV Connects series, and results from a collaboration between the League's Health Policy and Criminal Justice Committees.

We will hear from three experts who bring critical perspectives on the state's programs and practices addressing mental health and criminal justice:

-- Judge Irvin G. Condon, Probate Judge for Charleston County Probate Court; 

-- J. Matthew "Matt" Dorman, Executive Director for Berkeley County Mental Health Center;

-- Bill Lindsey, Executive Director for National Association of Mental Illness in South Carolina

-- The program will be moderated by Dr. Elizabeth A. Brown, PhD, MPA, who is Health Policy Director for LWV Charleston.
