On October 16, 2024, LWVVC President, Nicki Junkins, was the guest speaker at the Victoria Gardens Woman’s Club luncheon in DeLand. Her topic was The Fight for Woman’s Suffrage.
On September 12, 2024, 29 individuals gathered at Unitarian Universalist Church of Ormond Beach to write postcards supporting Amendment 4, Protecting Women's Health and Freedom to Make her Own Health Decisions.
On July 2, 2024, the LWVVC Voter Service Team partnered with the Gamma Mu Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority to hold a postcard signing party at Bethune Cookman University.
Volunteers from the Voter Service and Natural Resources teams helped children vote for their favorite animal at the Lyonia Environmental Center's Wildlife Festival. The winner was the Scrub Jay with 34 votes! We had a total of 92 kids vote.
