Part One: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 2

A business meeting to consider
1. a proposed amendment to the LWVSC position on Local Government and Home Rule
2. the proposed 2020-2021 LWVSC 2020-2021 budget
3. local League direction to the state board

Part Two: 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 12

"A Primer on South Carolina's Primaries," presented by Gibbs Knotts and Jordan Ragusa, addresses SC's presidential primaries as well as the smaller, local primaries. "Why do we have primaries, how did the current system emerge, and what are the tradeoffs with alternative nominating systems?" A 45 minutes presentation followed by a 15 minute question and answer period. The session was recorded for viewing.  See below.
