[MADISON, Wis.] - The League of Women Voters of Wisconsin (LWVWI) reminds voters across the state they can receive help from local nonpartisan experts in advance of the November Election by calling or texting the Voter Helpline at 608-285-2141.

The League of Women Voters of Wisconsin takes positions on key public policy issues after study, debate and consensus by our membership. Based on these positions, LWVWI analyzes and takes action on current bills in the state legislature.

Each of the 72 counties in Wisconsin have a jail where individuals are detained. Of the population incarcerated in county jails in Wisconsin, upwards of half of these individuals retain their right to vote.
